China Restaurant Große Mauer in Hagen

Ordered food by phone today and picked it up within 20 minutes. Super friendly staff, food packed in a cardboard box without plastic bags. Totally delicious, generous portions and on the house there was a bottle of plum wine, fortune cookies and a calendar. We recommend!

Picked up delicious food there

I was in the restaurant for the first time today. Even on the phone, I was pleasantly surprised by the open and very friendly nature of my conversation partner. I was welcomed just as warmly on site, and the food I ordered was delicious.

Ordered the food on site today and picked it up. Spaghetti as fried noodles at the Chinese is basically a no-go for me. I have no idea whether it is due to Corona and they were cheaper ... The spring rolls were really tasty, the crispy chicken was good too. If we had paid 6 euros for the dish, I would have accepted it, but getting spaghetti for the price is disappointing ...

First time here. Service very nice. Eat good.! Plenty too. Spring roll was more than good. It was not so clean on the way to the toilet. Guests do not have to be allowed to look into the kitchen. When cardboard is spread on the floor!

All dishes were well presented and served warm at all times. The restaurant is really tastefully decorated. No cheap decoration, instead everything was very nicely coordinated in color. The staff worked fast, clean and friendly. I can really recommend this restaurant!

Great food. The operation is not unfriendly. We were also there with toddler, no problems .. In the picture the rice plate. super delicious, 3 courses, for two paid almost 50 euros.

In September 2019 ,we visited my mother in Hagen and had a super lunch at the Grosse Mauer,we come from South Africa and our Rand is very weak against the Euro,We were 5 People,the service and the food were really great,the price was just under 100 Euro,that was a welcome surprise. We really recommend and God willing, will certainly be back .Thank you!

Let me start out by saying. If you have any handicap or have trouble using stairs this place is not for you. Large staircase to get in and out. The food me and my companion had was very fresh and prepared. However we both thought our vegetables were very undercooked. Aside from that it was very bland to us. None of the typical wok sauces had been used.
